Healing others with a broken heart….

Healing others with a broken heart….

Before my sister and I were born my parents had given up on religion and were carrying quite negative family pathologies. My parents added their own behaviors to the pathology and so by the time it got to me it was truly in a sad state with a variety of types of abuses. Though I have processed the bulk of my experience, now and again something will come up that will throw me at how painful it still is. During one of those episodes I decided since I still had a broken heart I was not fit to help others with broken hearts.

The following morning during my daily re-connect time with my self my guides showed me a man from the neck to the waist. I could see fold after fold of his white tunic. I had no clue what this could be. I then saw two lights coming out of his chest. I said to my guides, “Is this Jesus?” “If this is Jesus you know I don’t know much about him.” I Googled “were there lights coming out of Jesus’ chest.” I was shocked to find that in fact Jesus had been stabbed in the heart (broken heart) and through that stab wound came what Catholics refer to as the Divine Rays of Mercy.

In that moment the impact of how many people Jesus heals on a daily basis with a, symbolically speaking, broken heart for the last 2000 years had a lot of impact on me. Let’s look at that a little closer- whether you believe anything in the Bible or not you cannot deny the healing power Jesus has had on people. That moment re-affirmed for me that not only was I on my proper path but every single one of us, no matter how broken we may feel at times, has the power to heal another person with whatever gifts we have been given.
